Job summary

APi Group's HVAC Shared Services in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Subcontract Accounting Specialist who thrives on detail and accuracy. You will manage subcontract POs, MSAs, certificates, and invoice payments while collaborating with the Project Accountant team onsite.

The role requires at least 2 years in an administrative or contracts-related position; experience with subcontractor agreements is a plus. We offer competitive benefits and an on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with contracts.
• Proficient with Office Suite including Excel.
• Construction Industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with subcontractor agreements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter Subcontract Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
• Process and maintain Subcontractor MSAs and compliance documents.
• Enter Subcontract certificates based on billing requirements (AIAs etc)
• Payment of Subcontractor Invoices
• Process and maintain Subcontractor Statements
• Administrative tasks including filing, scanning, cost transfers, closing POs, and answering phones as needed
• Provide support for the Project Accountant team, as necessary
• Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.

HVAC Shared Services, powered by APi Group, is looking for a Subcontract Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. A successful Subcontract Accounting Specialisthas a passion for accounting and a strong attention to detail in their everyday work and tasks. In addition, the incumbent must have the versatility to excel at all levels of work – from the mundane to the pivotal.

HVAC Shared Services

The Shared Services team is made up of 5 separate operating companies of APi Group; Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors (MN), NAC Mechanical & Electrical Services (MN), Grunau (WI), Tessier’s (SD) and Merit Contracting (MN). This position will be located at our Eden Prairie, MN office. This is an on-site position.

Role Responsibilities:

• Enter Subcontract Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
• Process and maintain Subcontractor MSAs and compliance documents
• Enter Subcontract certificates based on billing requirements (AIAs etc)
• Payment of Subcontractor Invoices
• Process and maintain Subcontractor Statements

Requirements:

2 years minimum experience working in an administrative role

PAY RANGE: $27.89 to $32.70 an hour (depending on experience) plus incentive
