Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to support Paducah, KY site operations. The role involves preparing RFPs, reviewing bids, and negotiating terms with contractors to secure compliant contracts.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, ensuring deliverables meet contract requirements, and managing signature routing and contract changes in accordance with regulations. DOE clearance or the ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field; 5+ years of related experience.
• Typical experience ranges from 5-8 years.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Maintains sensitivity to and report on fraud, waste and abuse.
• DOE "L" clearance or ability to obtain a DOE "L" clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to which requests for proposals may be submitted; compile RFP packages.
• Prepare and review bid tabulations; modify scope, terms and commercial terms of contracts.
• Support management in various functional areas as assigned.
• Coordinate bid proposals and summarize with supervision for project management approval.
• Conduct pre-award conference with contractors and clients to ensure mutual understanding of the subcontract.
• Award contract via phone, telex, or letter; solicit awards and manage closeout per FAR/DEAR.
• Track status of deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Relate with project, design, client and contractor to incorporate changes; route for signature.
