Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Lexington, KY is seeking a Subcontract Administrator for the SOF GLSS contract. You will manage subcontracts from RFP to contract creation and oversee cost, schedule, and performance to ensure successful execution.

The role requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and will involve coordinating with cross-functional teams. As part of the SOF GLSS program, you will mentor junior staff on complex subcontracts and contribute to audits with Compliance.

Qualifications

• X(dependent on LG) year experience in Government procurements/subcontract Acquisitions; Comprehensive understanding of Global Supply Chain and/or complex Government procurement concepts and best practices
• Ability to conduct data analysis or research and/or understanding of negotiations to include multiple data sources
• Comprehensive understanding of negotiations and ability to analyze cost/price to establish a negotiation position
• Demonstrated experience with proposal evaluations (Price/Cost Analysis) and negotiations, including FAR/DFAR
• Experience with Statements of Work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading teams and project initiatives; Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving abilities to include experience with lean initiatives and supporting cross functional teams
• Ability to work both independently and within a team structure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Administering/Managing subcontracts from request for proposal to contract creation and through the life cycle of the effort.
• Overseeing cost, schedule, and performance of subcontracts.
• Implementing supplier corrective actions and return to green efforts as required.
• Providing status reports to senior and executive leadership.
• Collaborating with Compliance to support audits.
• (LG4 and LG5 only) Mentoring and serving as a knowledge resource on complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW driven requirements.
