Job summary
PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Contracts/Subcontract Specialist to develop and manage subcontracts for government procurement. The role focuses on creating specifications, terms and conditions, and evaluating bids to support development, production, and sustainment programs.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience with FAR/DFAR, negotiations, price analysis, RFQ/RFP processes, and familiarity with CONUS/OCONUS operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Govt Procurement experience.
- Experience in Purchasing processes.
- FAR/DFAR knowledge.
- Experience with S4/Hanna/SAP systems.
- Prime Contract experience.
- Strong Negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Terms and Conditions.
- Price Analysis techniques experience.
- RFQ/RFP process familiarity.
- Ability to review Drawings.
- NDA experience.
- Payment terms negotiation.
- CONUS and OCONUS experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
- Prepare bid packages and conduct bidders' conferences.
- Develop evaluation criteria and analyze proposals.
- Negotiate subcontract provisions and select subcontractors.
- Prepare awards and administer subcontracts.
- Coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
- Develop subcontract policies and procedures in coordination with contracts administration.
- May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within authority.
