Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Louisville, KY seeks a Senior Subcontract Program Manager Sr Stf to oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance of subcontractors supporting national security space programs. You will lead SMT, coordinate with Program Managers, engineering, and suppliers, and ensure compliant execution within budget and time constraints.

You bring deep technical background, strategic leadership, and a track record of guiding complex negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 5+ years experience optical engineering.
• Experience in the development, assembly, integration, test and delivery of optical hardware.
• Able to author a supplier statement of work with minimal guidance.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI SAP with CI Poly clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; travel up to 50–75% possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Subcontract Management Team (SMT) to develop and maintain a consistent business rhythm.
• Oversee end-to-end subcontracting process including RFPs, negotiations, awards, and performance management.
• Ensure subcontractor performance aligns with cost, schedule, quality, and EV requirements.
• Manage and release deliverables such as SOWs and SDRLs.
• Lead programmatic/technical meetings with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Identify, forecast, and resolve issues impacting subcontractor performance.
