Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Lexington, KY seeks a Subcontract Administrator for the SOF GLSS contract to manage subcontracts through their lifecycle, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

The role supports a global logistics sustainment program for the warfighter, requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and involves collaboration with Compliance for audits and mentoring on complex subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in government procurements/subcontract acquisitions and understanding of global supply chains.
• Ability to conduct data analysis and negotiations using multiple data sources.
• Understanding of negotiations and cost/price analysis to establish negotiating positions.
• Experience with FAR/DFAR, proposals evaluations, and price/cost analysis.
• Experience with Statements of Work (SOW).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives; lean thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administering/Managing subcontracts from RFP to contract creation and through the life cycle of the effort.
• Overseeing cost, schedule, and performance of subcontracts.
• Implementing supplier corrective actions and return-to-green efforts as required.
• Providing status reports to senior and executive leadership.
• Collaborating with Compliance to support audits.
• Mentoring and serving as a knowledge resource on complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW driven requirements (LG4 and LG5).
