Job summary

RTR Pilates in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to bridge strategy and daily operations. You will lead client relations, oversee studio readiness, and drive growth through local partnerships and events.

You will teach 8–12 classes weekly, mentor staff, and own the new client journey from lead to membership. DMV-area locations require on-site presence and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fitness teaching experience preferred; client relations experience a plus.
• Genuine passion for fitness and a solid understanding of industry trends.
• Desire to learn fitness software, analytics, and financial acumen for a GM role.
• Ability to work on-site at DMV locations (DC/MD/VA).
• Schedule flexibility to meet community needs including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain studio readiness and inventory; ensure equipment safety and aesthetics.
• Lead client relations and manage daily communications to nurture leads and members.
• Drive grassroots and events; host quarterly appreciation events and forge local partnerships.
• Teach high-energy reformer classes and mentor coaching staff for consistent service.
• Own new client lifecycle from lead to first visit and membership conversion.
