Job summary

SLT Group is seeking a Studio Manager to lead our Navy Yard studio operations, drive class utilization, and grow the local community. You will manage staff, coordinate marketing and sales efforts, and ensure exceptional client experiences daily.

The role emphasizes scheduling optimization, cross-functional leadership, and strong customer engagement to increase attendance and revenue. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Management experience in fitness, wellness or retail.
• Group fitness experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think and react quickly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an optimal teaching presence with up to 13 classes per week, stepping in when needed.
• Drive new client conversion and retention through targeted outreach and events.
• Oversee front desk staff and ensure high-quality customer service and studio operations.
• Optimize class types and times, and manage instructor allocation and subs in collaboration with T&D.
• Lead communication between marketing, operations and instructors about promotions and schedule changes.
