Job summary

SLT (Strengthen - Lengthen - Tone) is seeking a Studio Manager for our Rockville, MD location. Lead the studio's performance, optimize class schedules, and drive utilization by converting new clients and increasing frequency.

You will supervise front desk staff, coordinate marketing and sales activities, and ensure a premium client experience. Ideal candidates bring passion for fitness, strong leadership, and the ability to build community.

Qualifications

• Management experience in fitness, wellness or retail settings.
• Group fitness experience preferred.
• Self-starter with strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and react quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical thinking skills are a must.
• Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a class quota of up to 13 classes per week and mentor newer instructors.
• Ensure classes run on time; manage substitutes with T&D and optimize schedules.
• Drive utilization and revenue through first-timer engagement and outreach to clients and leads.
• Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, and daily operations of the front desk and sales efforts.
• Maintain facilities and equipment upkeep; address maintenance promptly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and drive client retention through personalized follow-ups.
