Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Lead in New York, NY who will drive profitability and efficiency across store operations. This role partners with the Operations & Visual Managers to delegate work, coach the team, and maintain safety and visual standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a client-centric, sales environment, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to move dynamically across the store.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory management to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate and address inventory accuracy issues with the General Manager to fix process or system gaps.
• Manage shipments, receiving, reverse transfers, floor recovery, replenishment, floor set updates, and supplies management.
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Support safe work environment and efficient operation through stockroom standards and processes.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill business, team and guest needs.
• Directly oversee the Operations Associates; recruit and develop talent.
• Evaluate performance using company tools and provide feedback for growth.
