Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Associate in New York to support store operations, drive profitability and efficiency in collaboration with the Operations & Visual Management team. You will manage inventory processes, assist with shipments and replenishment, and uphold visual standards on the sales floor to optimize guest experience.

You will use store metrics to inform decisions, respond promptly to customer needs, and work across departments to ensure safe, organized, and effective operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales & operational environment.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes to maximize inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General/Store Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
• Support shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain and champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Work with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects and initiates, in partnership with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist in processing shipment and ensuring product flow; including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Resolve client needs quickly & effectively ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to support the business goals.
