Job summary

SPENGA is seeking a proactive General Manager for the Chattanooga studio to oversee daily operations, drive sales and member retention, and build a thriving team culture. You will manage books, promote the SPENGA brand, and may also handle sales leadership for memberships as the studio opens.

Lead a hands-on team, coordinate events, and partner with the community to grow participation. The role rewards initiative, strong customer service, and a passion for fitness excellence.

• Previous sales experience; fitness industry or high-end goods & services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and exceed sales and retention expectations.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the business including but not limited to: ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, payroll, scheduling, cleanliness.
• Lead, train, motivate, and manage all staff to represent SPENGA.
• Sell memberships and retail.
• Retain and increase client participation.
• Submit accurate and timely reports.
• Plan and promote entertaining and productive events through community outreach and business partnerships.
• As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio.
