Job summary

SPENGA in Chattanooga is seeking a hands-on General Manager to oversee daily studio operations, financials, and brand development. This role blends leadership, sales, and events to boost memberships and interaction within the SPENGA community.

You will lead staff, manage scheduling, ensure a positive, energetic culture, and drive service quality. The position includes commission opportunities and employee benefits as part of our team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to create a successful environment for staff and clients.
• Previous sales experience required; fitness industry or high-end goods & services preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to SPENGA’s fitness philosophy.
• Contagious upbeat personality and motivation.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and exceed sales and retention expectations.
• Manage all operational aspects of the business including but not limited to: ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, payroll, scheduling, cleanliness.
• Lead, train, motivate, and manage all staff to represent SPENGA.
• Sell memberships and retail.
• Retain and increase client participation.
• Submit accurate and timely reports.
• Plan and promote entertaining and productive events through community outreach and business partnerships.
• As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio.
