Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The driver role requires a mature Christian faith, a clean driving record, and a valid driver’s license with 3+ years licensed experience. CDL-P endorsement may apply for larger vehicles; age 21–80 with additional documentation after 75.

Qualifications

• Must have a mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine.
• Regular driver's license; continuous licensing history for past three years.
• For vehicles seating >15 passengers: CDL with Passenger endorsement (P); for 15-passenger van: no special license.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules and assist students.
