Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site.

The role requires a mature Christian faith, active church involvement, and a valid CDL-P license with a clean driving record. Candidates must meet age, background, and medical documentation requirements, with occasional classroom volunteering optional.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise statements.
• Regular driver's license held for the past three years.
• Age 21–80; extra documentation for drivers over 75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in 5 years.
• Pass a background check and annual physician's statement if needed.
• Drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Assist students with entering or exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if agreed with Director.
