Job summary

Angelo State University in Texas is seeking a Student Transitions Coordinator for the Fab5 team. You will help plan and run New Student Orientation, Ram Round-Up, RAMbunctious Week, and Family Weekend, working with student staff and university offices.

You will liaise with the Director and Assistant Director, recruit and train summer staff, mentor the team, and coordinate social media and data management to support program goals.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and registered for classes.
• In good standing academically and judicially.
• Will not graduate prior to December 2027.
• Available to work all Office of Student Transitions programs (NSO, RRU, RAMbunctious Week) in June–August.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and delivery of NSO, Ram Round-Up, RAMbunctious Week, and Family Weekend.
• Liaise between the Director/Assistant Director and summer staff through recruitment, selection, training, and day of events.
• Meet regularly with the summer staff to mentor and build relationships.
• Facilitate communication with incoming students, their parents, and university offices.
• Coordinate social media announcements and respond to inquiries from students and families.
• Manage data entry, list management, and calendar maintenance for Student Transitions.
• Assist in meeting department goals and initiatives.
