Job summary

Texas Christian University seeks an Associate Director for New Student & Family Programs to coordinate Orientation for incoming undergraduate students and families. You will supervise a coordinator and partner with multiple campus units to support first-year initiatives.

You will lead development of orientation strategies, manage logistics, and oversee the Guidebook and Advantage Design Group platforms, while leveraging Slate for registration and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel Services, Leadership Development, or a related field.
• 3 years of program management experience in a higher education environment such as orientation, first-year programs, student development or experiential education.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements and assesses undergraduate Orientation programs for all first-year students, transfer students, and family members.
• Manages and coordinates all logistics for undergraduate orientation programs, including schedules, room reservations, meals, and overnight accommodations.
• Manages pre-orientation module platform, Advantage Design Group, including content collection and reporting.
• Utilizes Customer Relationship Management software, Slate, to manage Orientation registration, run reports, and update student records.
• Collaborates directly with Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs, including admissions, academic advising, the registrar, and each academic college.
