Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in education, student affairs, or related field.
• Minimum three years in higher education or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with first-year and orientation programming, and career readiness efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate first-year and transition programs for academic success and student well‑being.
• Plan and execute orientation for incoming students and transfers, introducing campus life and resources.
• Lead interdepartmental planning to deliver a seamless orientation experience for students and families.
• Build community through events and mentorship in collaboration with Student Life.
• Plan and organize the annual career fair, register employers, and promote student attendance.
• Cultivate employer relationships to expand internship and job opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor student workers and graduate assistants; collaborate with Success Center and Student Central.
• Assess program effectiveness, report outcomes, and recommend improvements.
