Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Academic Program Coordinator in the College of Liberal Arts at UT Main Campus. You will lead student transition initiatives, plan first-year experiences, and supervise staff within the Office of Student Engagement, working with multiple campus partners to deliver impactful programs.

Responsibilities include orientation management, collaboration with UT units, staff development, and data-driven program improvement to support student success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of professional experience in student advising/support programming; or Master's Degree and 3 years of professional experience in student advising/support programming.
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating student development programs.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently; demonstrated collaboration across units.

Responsibilities

• Lead Liberal Arts Student Transition Initiatives, including course offerings and curriculum development.
• Oversee Orientation coordination with UT units, staff advisors, and student affairs teams.
• Provide supervision and staff development for student transition staff and mentors.
• Collaborate across OSE and CoLA to support college events and professional development.
• Manage data metrics for first-year initiatives and program improvement.
