Job summary

Concordia University Texas seeks a Student Development Operations Coordinator to provide administrative, operational and support services for the Department of Student Development. You will serve as the operational partner to the VP, handling back-end tasks across Res Life, Student Life, Conduct and Transitions.

The role requires coordinating onboarding for student staff, supporting housing operations, and maintaining division calendars and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in student development.
• Ability to learn a variety of office technologies (MS Office, Banner, Maxient, Navigate 360).
• Availability to work some evenings and weekends for events and on-call coverage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator/point-of-contact for division software systems (e.g., housing/conduct platforms, event or case-management tools).
• Maintain and standardize shared operational processes across Res Life, Conduct, Transitions, and Student Life.
• Coordinate space and facility logistics requests (room reservations, work orders, key/access requests).
• Assist with housing operations tasks such as room assignment logistics and occupancy tracking.
• Route and triage incoming student concerns to correct functional area.
• Compile cross-functional data into regular reports for division leadership.
• Support assessment efforts such as surveys and learning outcomes.
