Job summary

The University of Virginia Athletics Department is seeking a Student Ticketing Assistant (Student Wage) to support the Athletics Ticket Office. This role handles in-office and gameday ticket sales, customer service, and ticket operations with a flexible 10–20 hour weekly schedule.

Requirements include excellent communication, reliability, confidentiality, and current UVA undergrad status with Federal work-study eligibility. Compensation is $13.00 per hour and work is primarily on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patrons in person, on the phone, via email, etc.
• Process phone and window sales during business hours.
• Stay informed and up-to-date on all policy and events.
• Provide administrative support/run errands, as needed.
• Assist with the printing and organization of paper tickets.
• Availability for pregame assistance for all Football games, select Basketball games.
• Assist with crowd control, ticket seller support, and general gameday operations.
• Assist with the scanning of digital and paper tickets.
• Assist with the management of the designated student entrances.
