Job summary

Spokane Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Paraeducator to support students with diverse needs across classrooms and settings. You will assist with instruction, behavioral supports, and daily routines under certificated staff supervision.

Position details include a 8:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with daily start ASAP, salary schedule level 35, and benefits through SEBB for eligible hours. Prioritize safety, inclusion, and collaboration with teams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma with 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits, AA or BA degree, or passing an academic assessment.
• Experience or aptitude in assisting students with disabilities and implementing IEPs/504 plans.
• Willingness to perform personal care tasks and mobility assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support across multiple students and settings as directed by teachers.
• Assist with IEP/504 plan implementation and data collection for progress monitoring.
• Support safety, de-escalation practices, and student engagement across environments.
