Job summary

Schaumburg High School is hiring a part-time Student Supervisor for the 2 PM to 6 PM shift. The role is 4 hours per day and runs for 10 months, with salary and benefits established by the district agreement.

The supervisor will monitor student movement, enforce rules, assist staff, and direct visitors in hallways, cafeterias, locker rooms, and during drills, under Administrator supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior and movement in hallways, cafeterias and locker rooms.
• Check entrances and exits regularly.
• Check bathrooms before school, after school and each hour during the school day.
• Help direct visitors entering the school.
• Escort students from their class as requested by Administrators.
• Help direct students during fire alarms and lock downs.
• The supervisor will be expected to perform such duties assigned by the Administrator in designed areas: hall locations, common areas, cafeteria, washrooms, locker rooms, outside areas and parking lots.
