Job summary

Huntley Community School District 158 is seeking a Campus Supervisor at Huntley High School to help maintain a safe, orderly environment during the school day.

The role involves enforcing handbook rules, supervising the In-School Suspension room, overseeing students across campus, collaborating with Deans, and aiding emergency responses and drills as a campus security team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; good written and oral communication skills.
• Calm demeanor and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and computer skills such as Google Suite as well as some general office skills are needed.

• Assist in the enforcement of the rules and regulations stated in the School handbook.
• Supervise and follow procedures in the In-School Suspension room.
• Supervise students in a variety of locations, including the parking lot, throughout the school during school hours.
• Work with the Deans on a daily basis and assist them in their duties and act as support team member on school safety committee.
• As a member of the campus security team, aid in the response to emergency situations and drills as well as assisting various school personnel in day to day tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

LOCATION OF WORK: Huntley High School

START DATE: Immediately

WORK HOURS: 10 Months / Full-Time

RANGE OF PAY: $18.03 - $19.28 / Hour

BENEFTS: HESPA, IMRF, Voluntary Retirement, Insurance

CLASSIFICATION: HESPA

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the enforcement of the rules and regulations stated in the School handbook.
• Supervise and follow procedures in the In-School Suspension room.
• Supervise students in a variety of locations, including the parking lot, throughout the school during school hours.
• Work with the Deans on a daily basis and assist them in their duties and act as support team member on school safety committee.
• As a member of the campus security team, a candidate will aid in the response to emergency situations and drills as well as assisting various school personnel in day to day tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED, good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and students.
• Calm demeanor and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and computer skills such as Google Suite as well as some general office skills are needed.
