Job summary

University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a Coordinator of Student Success Technology in Spartanburg, SC. The role blends information systems, big data, and communication strategies to support the Student Success Center's operations.

The position develops technology workflows, provides training, and oversees tutoring technologies and AI-supported tools. It also supervises student staff and coordinates tutoring services and assessments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related area and one year of experience.
• Experience with student information systems or retention software preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize technology needs to support student success and advising.
• Manage cohorts and alerts in retention software; implement chatbot campaigns.
• Assess effectiveness of technologies and stay current with educational tech trends.
• Foster innovation and deliver tech-related professional development for staff.
• Supervise student interns, tutors, SI leaders, and coordinate tutoring/ SI services.
• Other duties as assigned.
