Job summary

The University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a HyFlex Student Assistant to support the Center for Academic Innovation & Faculty Support. This part-time role requires on-site work at USC Upstate campuses and offers 15 hours per week with a $10/hour wage.

Responsibilities include training on software, assisting faculty with classroom tech, uploading materials to Zoom and Teams, monitoring class chats, organizing breakout groups, creating polls, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled USC Upstate student.
• Federal Work Study preferred.
• Willingness to work independently with direction.
• Willingness to ask for guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training to use relevant software.
• Assist faculty with classroom technology.
• Upload and deploy documents and PowerPoints in Zoom and Teams.
• Monitor chat during class sessions.
• Organize and manage breakout groups.
• Create and manage polls.
• Complete other duties as needed.
