Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a Student Success Technician to support students, collaborate with teachers and counselors, monitor progress, and organize events to promote student engagement.

The role emphasizes assisting students, guiding them to CNM resources, and communicating CNM policies and programs through multiple channels. Shift is Mon-Thu 9am-6pm; Fri 8am-5pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of experience.
• Experience as a student employee is considered.
• Combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements of the position.
• Preference: bilingual English and Spanish.
• Shift: Monday-Thursday 9 am-6 pm; Friday 8 am-5 pm; occasional Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Delivers information via telephone, in person, and online.
• Performs general office duties including data entry and retrieval, manual and electronic processing, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, and OSHA standards, and wears PPE if required.
• Provides guidance and support to students by referring them to appropriate resources within CNM.
• Explains CNM policies, procedures, and programs through various channels including telephone, in person, and online platforms.
• Performs a variety of general office duties such as data entry, retrieval, processing, and answering telephones.
• Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• Refers individuals to CNM resources and provides explanations of CNM policies.
