CNM Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque seeks a Student Success Technician to support students, coordinate interventions, and promote engagement. You will work with teachers, counselors, and staff to monitor progress, organize workshops, and connect students to CNM resources.

The Student Success Technician is responsible for providing support and assistance to students in order to enhance their academic success and overall well-being. This position collaborates with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to identify and address individual student needs. The technician position includes monitoring student progress, organizing workshops or events, and promoting student engagement and involvement in school activities. The Student Success Technician plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
Refers individuals to the appropriate CNM resources and provides explanations and interpretations of CNM policies, procedures, and programs. Delivers information via telephone, in person, and online. Performs general office duties, including data entry and retrieval, manual and electronic processing, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks. Ensures compliance with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, and OSHA standards, and wears personal protective gear if required. Provides guidance and support to students by referring them to appropriate resources within CNM. Offers explanations and interpretations of CNM policies, procedures, and programs through various communication channels, including telephone, in-person interactions, and online platforms. Performs a variety of general office duties such as data entry, retrieval, manual and electronic processing, and answering telephones. Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent AND Two (2) years of experience. Experience as a student employee is considered. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements of the position.
