Job summary

Moraine Valley Community College is seeking a Student Success Specialist for the Student Success Center. The role supports the transition, retention and completion of students by developing and evaluating campus-wide programs and services.

Under the Dean's supervision, you will implement data-driven initiatives, manage monthly/annual reports, and collaborate with counselors, advisors, faculty and students to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in student services, education administration or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in higher education or direct student services.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn other software tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing and evaluating campus-wide activities to support student success.
• Develop and assess programs to improve retention and completion of students.
• Coordinate and lead financial literacy initiatives for students.
• Participate in recruitment, retention and communication efforts for dual credit programs.
• Assist with orientation programs for Parents/Family and Veterans.
