Moraine Valley Community College is seeking an International Student Services Specialist to support enrollment, orientation, advising and socialization for international students at the main campus. You will handle immigration compliance, insurance and tuition coordination, and provide housing and admission assistance as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of related experience, with strong communication, organizational and cross-cultural skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with ability to plan and execute projects or programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• 1–3 years of professional work experience, preferably in education or social service; cross-cultural interest.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative services to new and enrolled international students, including intake advising and registration assistance.
• Advise on passport, visa and immigration regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate international student insurance and tuition policies.
• Assist in planning and implementing orientation programs.
• Develop programs for student socialization and cultural events.
• Provide academic advising and assist with course selection and degree requirements; monitor progress.
• Maintain records for compliance with immigration regulations and submit reports.
• Publicity and outreach to promote ISA programs and socialization.
• Utilize office technology and databases for student records.
• Assist prospective students with admissions information and inquiries.
• Provide housing support and collaborate on placement in housing; work with Housing Specialist.
