Job summary

Cape Cod Community College seeks a Dean of Student Care to provide strategic leadership for the College's integrated student care, case management, and success initiatives. The role coordinates TRIO, SUCCESS, Veterans Affairs, and counseling services to improve persistence and outcomes while ensuring privacy and compliance.

The Dean will partner with Academic Advising, Enrollment Services, and other college areas to align referrals, communication, and follow-up, and will guide staff development,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional experience in student affairs, student success, counseling, accessibility, or related higher education functions.
• Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience, including supervising and developing professional staff.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and using data to guide improvement.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the College's comprehensive student care and success framework across programs.
• Build partnerships with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and Student Wellness to support persistence and success.
• Lead design and implementation of a College-wide coordinated care and case-management framework with shared standards.
• Oversee evaluation and use of case-management tools ensuring privacy and security.
• Direct grant-funded student success programs (TRIO, SUCCESS, MAIHE, etc.) and coordinate support.
