Job summary

The Navigator at Technical College of the Lowcountry will provide intrusive advising, onboarding, orientation, coaching, career assessment and guidance to students from application to graduation. He/she will help select program pathways and provide financial literacy coaching and early alert strategies.

Responsibilities include advising individuals and groups across personal, social, financial, career and academic matters, managing caseloads, and maintaining detailed records in the student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in Student Services programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide advising to students and groups on personal, social, financial, career and academic matters.
• May teach First Year Experience course(s).
• Manage advisee caseload and maintain accurate records in the student success management system.
• Manage early alert program for caseload and coordinate support to improve student success.
• Coordinate communication between faculty and student support services.
