Job summary

Daemen University is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to assist the AS&E team with managing the academic coaching program and related operations. You will help with onboarding, payroll review, and record-keeping while supporting student success initiatives.

You will collaborate with faculty and campus partners to promote engagement, persistence, and inclusive programming, including social media content and assessment activities. This is a full‑time, ten‑month, hourly, non‑exempt role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years experience in higher education or related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting students' academic growth and development.
• Strong writing and oral presentation skills, with effective communication across diverse groups.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and confidential handling of information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administration and operations of academic coaching for 80–125 coaches per semester.
• Support hiring, training, onboarding, and compliance for new and returning coaches.
• Assist with payroll processes and payroll punches against session forms, resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and program documentation.
• Develop and facilitate student success workshops and educational programs.
• Serve as a liaison with faculty regarding referrals and communications.
• Promote coach growth through resources and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to promote student engagement and persistence.
• Oversee AS&E social media content marketing and related initiatives.
• Assist with assessment efforts and reporting on coaching participation.
• Support inclusive, student-centered programming and project initiatives.
