Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is seeking an Enrollment Services Specialist to join our Enrollment Services team. The role focuses on guiding students through admissions, records, and onboarding with a commitment to outstanding customer service at the front desk and over the phone.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a keen eye for detail and prior higher education exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding customer service and attention to detail.
• Preferred experience working in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service to students via phone and front desk operations.
• Understands and maintains extensive knowledge of enrollment process in order to assist students with admissions, records, and other questions.
• Maintains Enrollment Support email box and text-us inbox and corresponds with students as needed.
• Assists in planning and implementing student events including recruitment and retention efforts.
• Processes student records as applicable to the enrollment process.
• Makes appropriate service and resource referrals (Disability Resource Center, Career Pathways, Veterans Resources, etc.).
• Maintains knowledge of student service resources, including software, websites, and calendars.
• Adheres to policies and procedures for Student Services and the department.
• Maintains policy and procedure manuals and communicates information to staff and partners.
• Participates in educational/professional opportunities for staff development.
• Collects weekly statistics related to student services.
• Performs other duties as required or directed.
