Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps members coach and mentor students across elementary, middle, and/or high school levels to improve academic success, attendance, and behavior. The role includes 2–4 weeks of initial training and collaboration with partner teachers and staff.

Entry-level, full-time position with benefits and a focus on creating engaging, safe learning environments while helping students thrive in school and their communities.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring of students across elementary to high school
• Plan and monitor individual student progress with teachers
• Support academic coaching and behavior development in classroom settings
• Assist with whole-school initiatives and extended programs
