College Internship Program is seeking a Student Advisor to partner with students, families, and professionals to support independence paths. The role is onsite in Melbourne, FL, reporting to the Head Student Advisor.

Responsibilities include ISPs, progress reports, family communications, budgeting support, and leading team meetings. A Bachelor’s degree and driver’s license are required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Proficient with office software; quick learner with new technologies.
• 2 years’ experience in autism/learning disabilities at higher education level preferred.
• Special education/advising background preferred.
• Active driver’s license required.

Aufgaben

• Write and coordinate ISPs and Semi-Annual Progress reports.
• Prepare and facilitate periodic meetings with students and parents.
• Communicate with student families regarding progress and schedule changes.
• Assist students with banking/money management and budgeting.
• Lead Team Review Meetings and share progress with CIP staff weekly.
• Attend weekly updates on academic, residential, culinary, and vocational progress.
• Coordinate with CIP teams to ensure comprehensive support.
