Job summary

College Internship Program (CIP) in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LMHC) for a full-time onsite role. The Clinician will deliver therapeutic services, assessments, and crisis support within CIP’s structured framework for young adults with autism and learning differences.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure, and clinical experience in educational settings.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Autism, Psychology, Education or related field.
Licensure as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or LMHC is required.
Clinical experience in an educational setting with ASD or learning differences is required.
Active driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality direct clinical services, including tele-counseling.
Work within the CIP Clinical Framework to provide assessments, support plans, individual and group therapy, and case management.
Lead in crisis intervention and emergency on-call situations.
Communicate with prescribing physicians on medication and external treatment plans.
Master CIP's medical record platform – Therapy Notes.
Increase student engagement, self-awareness and self-advocacy in ongoing mental health care.
Develop skills for student-led navigation of mental and physical health services in real-world settings.
Other duties as assigned.
