Job summary

College Internship Program Inc. in Melbourne, FL seeks a full-time Student Advisor to partner with students, families and referring professionals, guiding paths toward independence and coordinating CIP functions.

The role reports to the Head Student Advisor, requires a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license; 2 years autism/learning differences experience preferred. On-site with occasional weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• 2 years of autism/learning differences experience preferred in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Write and coordinate Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Semi-Annual Progress reports.
• Prepare and facilitate periodic meetings with students and parents.
• Communicate with student families regarding overall progress and schedule changes.
• Assist students with banking/money management and budgeting.
• Lead Team Review Meetings and communicate progress weekly.
