Qualifications

• Master's degree required; coursework in student services preferred.

• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule student success advising staff.
• Coordinate new student orientation/registration process with budget management.
• Collaborate on retention initiatives and retention software utilization.
• Oversee advising retention initiatives and Career Services with the Director.
• Advise assigned students on educational plans and career goals.
• Participate in staff development and maintain knowledge of student records and advising techniques.
• Review/update degree audits, prerequisites and exceptions.
• Support annual commencement planning.
• Plan day/evening and occasional Saturday hours for advising and related services.
