Ranken Technical College is seeking a Student Success Advisor to provide academic, social and personal development support for new and continuing students in St. Louis.

You will assess needs, access the learning management system, perform unofficial degree audits, and arrange course rescheduling to aid successful matriculation. The role reports to the Vice President for Student Success and involves coordinating with faculty, traveling to campus locations, and mentoring students to achieve their

Qualifications

• Experience advising and mentoring students to improve retention and graduation outcomes.
• Ability to access LMS, perform audits, and coordinate course rescheduling.
• Strong communication with students, faculty, and staff; supports diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned caseload with travel to campus locations as needed.
• Advises students on college policies and procedures.
• Addresses academic alerts submitted by faculty.
• Coaches and mentors students to reach their highest potential.
• Performs unofficial degree audits and arranges rescheduling as appropriate.
• Provides administrative support for programs, policies, and procedures.
• Responds to students’ visits, calls, messages, and emails.
• Engages students in meetings for referrals, probation, and success plans.
• Supports college-wide student success initiatives through other duties.
