Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager through Inkblot Marketing to help elevate student engagement. You will craft engaging posts, manage calendars, and collaborate with the Photo and Video Team, CSE staff, and ASUN to promote events and programs across Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

Ideal candidates are current UNR undergraduates with strong writing, Canva and Adobe CC skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly staff meetings and set social media goals.
• Manage social media accounts and Linktree; monitor and respond to direct messages in a timely manner.
• Promote events and updates promptly while engaging with campus partners and ASUN messaging.
• Develop captions and alt text for all content across platforms.
• Write and edit copy for social media channels and schedule posts on Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Attend events to capture content for stories and campaigns.
• Maintain content calendar and coordinate with Inkblot team to plan campaigns.
• Create holiday-aware communications and monthly engagement reports.
