Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno’s Fitness and Recreational Sports (FRS) seeks a student to create social media and marketing content. You will produce and edit video and photo content for Twitter, YouTube and Instagram using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, promoting the campus fitness center and its values.

You will also help develop long-term marketing strategies to engage more students. Responsibilities include daily event coverage, timely postings, and growing the Student Ambassador program,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
• Experience writing, creating and posting content is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media platforms with up-to-date information regarding events and university info.
• Finalize and implement monthly strategies based on analytics and insights.
• Daily coverage of FRS and campus events; create photos/videos.
• Develop and implement long-term marketing strategies for FRS to reach more students.
• Create high quality videos and promotional content for social media.
