Job summary

University of Massachusetts Boston is seeking an Undergraduate Program Support Specialist for the College of Management Undergraduate Program Office to provide frontline customer service to students visiting, calling, or emailing the UPO.

This in-person role supports reception, registration processes, events, and data management, coordinating with UPO Director and CM staff to advance student success and program operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 1–2 years in higher education administration preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, WISER, Degree Audits, Canvas and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Front desk reception and general office support.
• Monitor departmental email accounts daily; triage inquiries.
• Manage check-in and waiting room for advising; schedule calendar.
• Support registration and course-related processes and data entry.
• Assist with events and program coordination.
