Job summary

Chester County Intermediate Unit seeks a Staffing Coordinator to support Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) and Student Services in West Grove, PA. The role handles referrals, staff training, and supervision to meet the needs of students with special needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with LEAs and staffing agencies, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA/FERPA while maintaining thorough communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, or Mental Health required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current child abuse, criminal history, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate provision of services to meet individualized client needs in collaboration with Local Education Agencies (LEAs).
• Communicate with school districts regarding cases needing staff with special skills; coordinate with staffing agencies.
• Access online databases and approve daily staff logs; update client enrollment status and create staff accounts.
• Provide orientation, training, and direct supervision to staff; monitor performance and identify development needs.
• Coordinate and oversee delivery of direct care services per students' IEP plans.
• Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders to ensure needs are met and improvements identified.
• Monitor billing database and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; audit data as needed.
• Provide training to staff on computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets).
• Prepare and submit reports to districts, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain HIPAA and FERPA compliance regarding student/staff data.
• Perform additional duties per new mandates.
