Job summary

The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) seeks a Staffing Coordinator to support Advanced Clinical Services by coordinating direct care staff for students with special needs. Responsibilities include supervising staff, training, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA/FERPA regulations within the school-based program.

The position is based at the Child and Career Development Center in Coatesville, PA, with scheduling Monday–Friday and 260 workdays per year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, or Mental Health is required.
Master’s degree preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Current child abuse, criminal history, and FBI Fingerprint clearances

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee services to meet students' individualized needs in collaboration with LEAs.
Communicate with school districts and staffing agencies to ensure proper staffing.
Access databases and approve daily logs, enroll/remove clients, and create staff accounts.
Provide orientation, training, and direct supervision to staff; assess development needs.
Ensure delivery of direct care services per students’ IEPs and maintain stakeholder communications.
Monitor billing data for compliance with regulations; support staff in computer applications.
Prepare reports for districts, state, and federal agencies.
