Job summary

Macomb Community College is seeking a Student Services Assistant to support prospective and current students through admissions, orientation, registration, and campus activities. This role involves welcoming visitors, triaging inquiries, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure a smooth enrollment experience.

The position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle calls and emails, and familiarity with enrollment processes.

Qualifications

• Two years’ customer service experience required.
• High school diploma; some college coursework helpful.
• Higher education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and triage students upon office entry.
• Answer calls on the ACD line, make outbound calls and respond to emails.
• Assist and support students, staff, and faculty in admissions, registration, transcripts, orientation, OneCard, and placement testing.
• Placement testing proctoring, processing test scores in Colleague, and providing copies of scores to students.
• Provide support for campus tours/events.
• Assist with student data entry in Recruit and Colleague.
