Job summary

Rutgers University-Newark seeks a Manager Supervisor (Team Lead) for the One Stop Student Services Center to lead financial aid, registrar, and student accounting operations. You will promote a seamless student experience, coach staff, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

You will engage with campus partners, monitor performance, and support problem resolution across student services while maintaining awareness of deadlines and system functionality.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree.
• Five years of experience in financial aid, registration, and/or student billing at an academic institution.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, critical thinking and administrative skills.
• Ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with flexible priorities.
• Experience with student information systems and case management.

Responsibilities

• Hires, coaches, supervises, trains, and evaluates staff.
• Manages performance planning and reviews.
• Fosters cooperative relationships within One Stop and with stakeholders.
• Monitors performance and provides regular feedback to optimize workflow.
• Supports front-line operations and assists students with enrollment-related questions.
• Maintains familiarity with student information systems and enrollment calendars.
