Job summary

Hopkins Public Schools seeks a casual Student Choice & Intervention Scheduling Assistant to provide essential scheduling support for secondary student-choice and intervention periods. The role involves assisting with placements, weekly schedule adjustments, and data entry, within a team environment at Hopkins West Middle School.

The position offers approximately 5–8 hours per week, with possible overtime per district procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with school scheduling processes preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist administrators and scheduling staff with student placements in intervention and other student-choice periods.
• Support weekly schedule adjustments and roster updates for designated opportunities.
• Enter, verify, and maintain scheduling information in scheduling systems.
• Assist with monitoring enrollment levels and identifying sections needing adjustment.
• Support communication related to scheduling updates.
• Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and other records for scheduling processes.
• Provide clerical, organizational, and technical support related to scheduling activities.
• Perform other related support duties as assigned.
