Job summary

Hopkins Public Schools is seeking a Student Choice & Intervention Scheduling Assistant (Casual Position) to provide operational support for secondary student-choice, intervention, and academic support periods at Hopkins High School. The role involves scheduling, roster updates, and data entry, with approximately 5-8 hours per week and an hourly rate of $26.24 to $33.51, DOE.

This casual, non-bargaining unit position supports the administrative team and does not manage the master schedule.

Qualifications

Prior experience with school scheduling processes or scheduling technology is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Strong technology and data-management skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Assist administrators and scheduling staff with student placements in intervention and student-choice periods.
Support weekly schedule adjustments and roster updates for enrollment and scheduling.
Enter, verify, and maintain scheduling information in scheduling systems.
Monitor enrollment levels and identify sections requiring review or adjustment.
Assist with communication related to placement updates and scheduling changes.
Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and records to support scheduling processes.
Provide clerical, organizational, and technical support for scheduling activities.
