Job summary

Penn State University is seeking a Student Resource Support Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for students at the Counseling & Accessibility Annex. You will help students navigate campus resources and connect them with health, counseling, accommodation, and academic support services.

The role focuses on developing customer service and communication skills within a welcoming, professional environment, while supporting wellness and accessibility initiatives on campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in identifying and accessing appropriate campus resources.
• Direct students to Health Services, Counseling Services, Accommodation Services, and other student support offices.
• Support front desk operations, appointment check-in, and general inquiries.
• Maintain resource materials, displays, and informational handouts.
• Assist with wellness, accessibility, and student support programming.
• Track program participation and assist with assessment activities.
• Assist with office projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Represent Student Support Services in a professional and welcoming manner.
